A rare case of primary empty sella syndrome and growth hormone excess in a patient with neurofibromatosis type 1

Introduction: Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is the most common type of NF, and accounts for about 90% of all cases. Primary empty sella syndrome (ESS) results from herniation of arachnoid mater into the pituitary fossa.
